Children that have teeth discolored by fluoride have a higher risk of bone damage, according to a study published in the journal Fluoride.
132 Tibetan children, aged 8 to 13-years-old and living in a low fluoride water environment, developed dental fluorosis (tooth discoloration) from fluoride in their diets in foods like brick tea, a popular Asian drink, fed to children as young as two years old.
Wrist x-rays reveal that 96% of those children with dental fluorosis had
“developmental skeletal abnormalities” including carpal bone hardening or thickening.”
Consequently, discolored teeth in children should be viewed as more than a matter of cosmetic concern. It can also be a indication of preliminary skeletal fluorosis that might lead to full-scale debilitating skeletal fluorosis in adulthood.Skeletal fluorosis symptoms include pain, stiffness and/or deforming bone defects.
The EPA has determined that 4 parts per million is the maximum fluoride allowed in water in order to avoid skeletal fluorosis. Yet, some people exceed 4 milligrams daily from their diet, alone. In fact as many as 63% of children living in optimally fluoridated areas (0.7 – 1.2 ppm) have dental fluorosis.
There are other studies linking fluoride to skeletal probems. A British Medical Journal study reports that older white women from fluoridated communities have a 32% higher rate of wrist fracture. A Mexican study links dental fluorosis to bone fractures. Polish pediatricians found abnormal bone changes in 11 to 15 year-olds exhibiting dental fluorosis. And there are many other studies linking fluoride to other diseases like arthritis and irritable bowel syndrome.
The problem is that you have little control over your local government’s fluoridation policies. If your water tests for high fluoride levels or if your local municipality fluoridates drinking water, then your only solution is to purchase a water filtration system that will effectively remove fluoride from your water. You must take personal responsibility.
In other posts and videos TBWF has already discussed the dangers of fluoridation of public drinking water. Yet it not only continues, but also gains ground in some communities. That is despite the research that shows that fluoride accumulates in the pineal, particularly of infants and small children. Fluoride impacts growth, sexual maturation, and other health issues. So why do they use it?
Keep in mind that the original studies on fluoridation that concluded it is beneficial for tooth decay prevention were funded by the aluminum industry. Why is that? Why would they possibly want to fund such a study? Could it be that they were looking for an alternative to disposing of fluoride, a byproduct of aluminum production, that would make a profit instead of being a cost? Hmmm….
Aluminum continues to be produced. Could the aluminum industry be continuing to exercise their influence in the interest of their profit motive… maybe even contributing to a few select lawmakers?

You’ve probably heard about the miracle water that comes out of ionizing water treatment devices. These machines range in price from $1,000 to $4,500 and claim to have incredible health benefits for the body. Claims like curing cancer, diabetes, and heart disease are not uncommon.
The first thing that you should know is that there is absolutely no solid scientific research from any independent reputable source that supports any of the claims of the filters including improved health, micro-clustered water, improved body pH, and anti-oxidant water.
On December 7 2009, The New Jersey Senate passed a bill that requires fluoride to be added to all public water supplies. The bill was passed despite the objections of utility companies, environmental advocates, and a group of parents.
This bill, if made law, would affect some 6 million households. If it does not become law, it is likely that would be because of cost issues as opposed to health issues. Senator Joseph Vitale (D) sponsored the bill because of what he calls the overwhelming public health care benefit and health care cost savings.
Basically, Senator Vitale, like so many other people, has fallen for the line of the American Dental Association which promotes the research that shows fluoride is an effective tooth decay preventative. Unfortunately, neither the American Dental Association nor the Senator have paid any attention to the research that demonstrates the negative impact of fluoride on general health including, but not limited to, the accumulation of fluoride in the pineal gland.
The thing that is amazing is that these are presumably not stupid people (or are they?). One must wonder why the government is taking the position of requiring that the same chemical that the Russians, and maybe the Nazis, used to pacify people in detention camps be put in our water.
If you live in New Jersey contact your legislators to oppose this legislation.

It may shock you to learn that more than 20 percent of the nation’s water treatment systems have violated key provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Act over the last five years, according to a New York Times analysis of federal data.
A New York Times article reports that over 49 million people have been drinking unsafe water since 2004.
Getting a water filter or filtration system that results in your having safe water to drink, cook with, and bathe in is not a matter of going to the local hardware store or Home Depot and picking up something off the shelf. It’s also not a matter of buying an off-the-shelf whole house water system, no matter how expensive. The fact is that to get safe water you must get a water filtering technology that is custom fit to your specific water conditions.
This is not such an easy task because there are many factors that need to be considered about water quality… and the first step is to find out what the condition of your water actually is. For that you can use municipal treatment plant reports and water test kits.
Next it’s important to know what “safe water” really means and what to look for in water treatment systems.

The cornerstone of the functioning of the entire body is the digestive system, and water plays an important part in correct digestion. Digestion supplies the energy for your entire body… and when there’s not enough energy, things stop working correctly.
The stomach requires the proper acidity in order to start the process of digestion. Without enough water, the hydrochloric acid in the stomach is too weak. The small intestine requires alkalinity. In order for that to function properly, the stomach must release food into the small intestine at the proper pH. Then the large intestine requires the food to be acidic once again. This is a delicate balance.
If the body does not have the right amount of water, then it will attempt to make adjustments to systems in the body in order to conserve the water that is there. The results are usually not good… stomach ulcers, constipation, and other ailments.

LifeStraw Filtration Technology
According to Forbes magazine and many other sources, water, not oil, is the most valuable liquid on earth. The earth is more than two thirds water, but the fact is that many populated parts of the earth suffer from a consistent shortage of safe drinking water. The need for potable drinking water will shape the socio-political realities of the world, even in the near future, and many mega-corporations are positioning themselves to capitalize on water. The vanguard of that capitalization can be seen in the commercialization of bottled water by the giants like Coca Cola and Nestle. Think of the profits that can be derived by selling something that has virutally no cost of goods sold (except the actual bottling process) and that can be sold at prices higher than gasoline. But bottled water is really small potatoes compared to the privitization of potable water. Today, most drinking water is supplied by governments. The problem is that the entire infrastructure that supplies water to people is in trouble. Water treatment plants need overhauling to cope with exotic new chemicals and contaminants and the water delivery pipes are in danger of collapse… and all that costs money to fix… money that governments don’t want to spend. So, why not let private corporations invest in the infrastructure and make some profit selling water?
The fact is that privitization experiments have been unsuccessful. Not only do they lead to water that isn’t particularly safe, but water is only available to people who can afford to pay for it. So what’s the alternative?
The real solution may be to start thinking out of the box… and the box for water treatment is the idea that water must be treated in big water treatment plants. What about water treatment at the level of private homes or even individuals? Personalized water filtration is an idea whose time has come and the simple facts are that personalized filtration can provide water that is safer than that from water treatment plants and at a lower cost.
One of ths most interesting technologies is the LifeStraw technology made by Vestergaard Frandsen S.A. of Switzerland. These filters effectively remove bacteria on contact, including salmonella and staphlococcus. One configuration of the technology is a personal drinking straw. It is opening the possibility of potable water from rivers and lakes in places where safe drinking water has only been a dream. Reusable and at $3 to $4 each, the LifeStraw technology has the potential to reduce the outbreak of disease and improve the living standards in many of the world’s poorest regions.
Safe, clean water is critical for your good health.
Water is the medium in which the biochemical reactions in the body take place and it’s important that the water you drink be safe so that nothing interferes with the intricate body chemistry. There are many different types of contaminants, but it’s also important to consider things that we normally consume as a type of contaminant. Drinking soda or coffee is not the same as drinking safe, pure water.
When drinking water, you must ensure that the water is safe and you must get the right amount of water to keep your body functioning normally.
The human body is mainly water. It only makes sense that the quality of the water you drink is important for proper biochemical functioning in the body. Drinking is the primary way that you get water into the body, and that means that the water you drink must be safe and free of contaminants.
Drinking water doesn’t mean drinking soft drinks, coffee, fruit juices, and other non-water drinks. When you fail to consume enough water, your body will make adjustments to conserve the water that it does have… and usually that means that something will go wrong in the body, like constipation.
The problem we face in our modern culture is that our sources of water like municipal water treatment, private wells, and even bottled water do not end up providing safe water for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
