Safe, clean water is critical for your good health.

Water is the medium in which the biochemical reactions in the body take place and it’s important that the water you drink be safe so that nothing interferes with the intricate body chemistry. There are many different types of contaminants, but it’s also important to consider things that we normally consume as a type of contaminant. Drinking soda or coffee is not the same as drinking safe, pure water.

When drinking water, you must ensure that the water is safe and you must get the right amount of water to keep your body functioning normally.

RiverWater is one of the best solvents on good old planet earth. That means that lots and lots of things easily dissolve in it… and that means that there is no such thing as natural pure water. In other words, pure H2O doesn’t exist naturally. Even typical home distillers don’t remove 100% of the things dissolved in water. It’s important to understand that basic science fact because some of the things dissolved in water are good for you and some of the things are not.

The issue is not to have pure water. The real issue is that the water be safe. The water you drink, cook with, and bathe in should be free of the things that can make you sick, cause cancer, cause birth defects, etc. Whatever you rely on to provide you, your family, or your business with safe water must reduce all unsafe contaminants to safe levels.

That’s why it’s important to know what the unsafe contaminants are, what safe levels of those contaminants are (not necessarily EPA standards), and what various water filtration devices actually do. For example, some popular water filters reduce cyst contamination by 95% or even 99%, but the real safe level is that it be reduced by 99.9999999%. There is no point in buying filters that don’t result in safe water.
